PH-6A.3 P Hermetic Junction Box Hermetic junction boxes are widely used in surface-mounted installations requiring a high degree of protection. The hermetic junction box family comprises numerous variants, including junction boxes differing in both dimensions and cable entry methods. They are characterized by a simple structure consisting of a base and a cover. The base is available in four versions: - a version without knockouts, - a version with knockouts for cable glands, - a version with attached flexible PE glands, - a version with membrane glands. Another element of the "PH" junction box is the cover, available in two or three heights. The base and cover are connected using screws made of a tear-resistant technical material, ensuring a secure and corrosion-resistant connection. The junction box is equipped with a hermetic seal, machine-molded using the latest technology, ensuring the junction box is dust-tight and has a high IP65 protection rating. Additionally, end caps are used as an insulating and airtight element, protecting protruding mounting elements from the electrical components inside the box. The box can be additionally equipped with a terminal strip, mounting plate, or Eurorail. The height, color (white color code – B), cable glands, and accessories are listed and described in the tables below. Each "PH" box is suitable for sealing. The PH4, PH5, and PH-6 versions can be equipped with an optional plastic (perforated) mounting plate. The PH box is available in RAL7035 gray or white.
